tl;dr: Google DeepMind released AlphaGenome Atlas, a 1-petabyte database containing pre-computed predictions for the regulatory impact of all ~9 billion possible single-nucleotide variants in the human genome, generated by their AlphaGenome AI model. It introduces the AlphaGenome Variant Impact (AVI) score to rank variants across coding and non-coding regions, and has already helped researchers identify a causal DNM1 splice variant in rare disease work and uncover 22% more non-coding associations in UK Biobank BMI data. Access is via a no-code web portal. | |
